Clerk of the course

Ce contenu n’est pas encore disponible dans votre langue.

Clerk of the course is positive check-in: swimmers report to staging and are marked present before their event. It’s used mainly for championship-style meets where you need to scratch no-shows before seeding the final lanes.

On the check-in screen for an event:

  • Check a swimmer in when they report to staging — this stamps the time.
  • Add a note if needed (e.g. “reported late, ref approved”). Clearing a check-in keeps the note.
  • Each event has a check-in deadline; swimmers not checked in by then show as overdue.

Overdue is derived on the clerk’s own device from the event deadline versus the clerk’s local clock — there’s no dependence on a server clock, so it stays correct on deck regardless of timezone.

Check-in changes broadcast live, so the desk and the clerk stay in sync.
