Running a meet

A meet runs as a sequence of stages. The pages that follow are ordered to match that sequence — read them top to bottom and you can run a meet start to finish.
The workflow at a glance
Section titled “The workflow at a glance”- Create a meet — from a template, tied to a pool.
- Rosters & participants — who’s competing.
- Entries & seeding — who swims what, in which heat and lane.
- The run screen — the live control surface on deck.
- Clerk of the course — check swimmers in (championship-style meets).
- Results & DQs — enter times and disqualifications.
- Finals & swim-offs — advance from prelims.
- Scoring — points and standings.
Then print and export the programs, lane sheets, and award labels you need along the way.
Before the meet vs. on deck
Section titled “Before the meet vs. on deck”The first three stages (create, rosters, entries/seeding) happen before meet day. The run screen, check-in, results, finals, and scoring happen on deck, live. Deck-day work is designed to keep working even on flaky venue wifi.
